Last week we had the opportunity to travel to sunny California. It was so nice to soak up some sun and warm weather, only to return to 3 inches of snow!! Can't wait for summer in Iowa.
We spent our time on the sandy beach, strolling Balboa Island, enjoying fresh strawberries, watching baseball and introducing Easton to his Uncle Matt (and half of LA in the process!).
Easton had lots of "firsts" on the trip including: first plane ride, first strawberry, first time seeing the ocean, and meeting Uncle Matt for the first time.
It was great to get away as a family before the busyness of baseball season.
