We had the privilege this year to host my family, the Overman's, for Christmas. Everyone, but my two oldest brothers, were able to make it to our house Thursday night before Christmas. We had a total of 13 people including a few boyfriends and girlfriends.
We started our evening with make-your-own homemade pizza! We had done this two years ago for Christmas and thought it would be fun to maybe make a tradition of it. It's a fun way to get everyone involved and interacting together. This year we had 8-10 different varieties including Thai Chicken, Greek, Spicy Jalapeno and others. The only thing we were missing was two ovens so that we could eat them all at the same time.
My three nieces even got to make their individual pizzas topped with their favorite fixings.
It was fun to have all the kids running around and to see Easton interact with his cousins. We only wish we got to see them more often!
Easton's cousin's gave him this neat wooden race track. It has kept him busy for hours. Thanks Hannah, Ella and Sophia, and of course, Uncle Jacob and Aunt Stephanie.
The only sad part of the night was that everyone but Opa left because it started snowing and the roads were getting bad. I was looking forward to having a Christmas slumber party at our house! 13 people sleeping in our little house would have been a record!

Christmas day we spent the afternoon in Dyersville and the evening in Dubuque with my extended family. Easton got to meet some cousin's once removed for the first time!
In Dubuque, we did something out of the ordinary and played Guesstures after opening gifts. It was quite entertaining and fun to see even my 80+ year old grandma get up and play!!
We spent lots of time in the car, but Easton was a stud.
