Corpus Christi

Aaron had "Winter Break" two weeks ago, so we left town and headed to Corpus Christi. We've decided that we need to take advantage of all the things to do here in Texas while we are here.

We spent the late afternoon walking the beach. Easton loved throwing rocks in the water, looking for shells and throwing the football around with Dad! Titus had his first experience of the beach! He was breathless!! (It was windy and kept taking his breath away)

We started our trip on the USS Lexington. That ship is HUGE! It was so interesting to see what it would have been like to live on the ship. Easton loved checking out all of the planes on the landing deck and exploring the caption's quarters.

Our last stop was the Texas State Aquarium. Easton's highlight was the dolphin show. By the end he was imitating the instructors with his hand high in the air just like them!!
The funny thing is that when Aaron was a boy, he loved dolphins too, and was even a part of a dolphin club!!! I just had to laugh seeing both father and son intently watching and enjoying the show.
Here's to more weekend adventures in Texas!!
