Easton's Request

We asked Easton what he wanted to do before we left Texas, and can you guess what he said?? Go to a Rangers Baseball game!! Imagine that!
We thought it would be fun for him to invite his buddy, Josiah, for one last outing before we moved many miles apart.
So after church we headed to the ball field with our sack lunches and ball gloves. After enjoying a tailgate lunch in the back of the pickup truck, we headed into the ball diamond. It was a perfect day to bring a friend as there were so many kid-friendly offerings that day. The boys enjoyed a train ride, balloon characters, free t-shirts, tattoos, popcorn and even a baseball from a player on the field!!
Both boys had so much fun together! We ended the day on a sweet note with ice cream cones!
Oh how Easton is going to miss his buddy Josiah. He is constantly asking if he can go to Josiah's house and play, or do this or that like Josiah. He's like an older brother. It has been so sweet to watch these two grow as friends and learn and play with one another. I pray that God would provide other deep friendships like this one for Easton in the future.
We love you Josiah!

Here's the little man sporting his Texas gear and staying cool in the shade.
