Haven't had much motivation to sit and post all that has happened the last two months, but I thought I should get it done before it is REALLY old news.
Aaron's parents came to visit for two weeks in December, so we decided to explore a little more of this country. We rented a car and spent three days in Kapadokya.

We stayed in the Flintstone Cave Hotel. Easton thought it was amazing that he got to sleep in a cave!!
We explored lots of Fairy Chimneys and saw many beautiful cave mosaics.
This city is known for its beautiful pottery and handwoven rugs. We toured a school where they teach young women to make Turkish rugs, and saw how they harvest the silk to make these intricate and beautiful masterpieces.
We ended our trip touring the Underground City where countless believers took refuge from Roman persecution.
We even got to see some snow!! Easton thought it was so much fun to have a snowball fight with his Dad, until we got in the car and his hands were frozen!!
It was relaxing and refreshing to be away from all of the hustle and bustle of the city, and to be surrounded by creation instead of cement buildings!!
We enjoyed afternoons at the park, lots of good food, including Gingerbread cookies, and the boys had lots of play time with Nana and Papa!!
