I've always liked to describe this little guy as sweet but feisty! His charming smile and big blue eyes can easily persuade you in thinking he's a cute and quiet boy, but don't be fooled! He's got an intensity that will bring you to the ground, literally!
His sweet side loves to cuddle and give kisses, while his feisty side tends to show determination and strong will. I think he has fallen and bumped his head more than any kid I know. He's to the point, that most of the time it doesn't bother him anymore. I'm just waiting for the day that he breaks a bone or needs stitches! He will try to jump off of any elevated surface, and test his limits; all boy through and through. He's got a skip to his step and always seems to have energy that doesn't fade.
Watch out, when you're not looking he will tackle you from behind with some fierce strength!
Lately he has become quite the copy cat in both words and actions.
He loves to follow in his big brother's footsteps trying to do everything he does. Lately it's been drawing together at their little school table. On the attitude side, he has learned to cross his arms and put his little lip out when he's upset or disappointed.
It's been fun to see them play together sometimes as the best of friends and sometimes as the worst of friends. Don't worry, he's not afraid to stand his ground with his brother. He doesn't back down easily!
His vocabulary has grown leaps and bounds. Just about every day it seems, he is learning and trying to mimic a new word.
His latest is "stop it!" He actually knows when to properly use it too. Aaron started tickling him the other morning, and the first words out of his mouth were, "Stop it!"
His vocab includes:
No, Drop it, Mom, Dad, I love you, Apple, More, Ball, Mine, Me, Baby, I don't know, Bird, Eye, Nose, Bike, Draw, and I'm sure more that I'm forgetting.
He's such a charming little boy with his adorable smile and pinchable cheeks. He truly does melt this mama's heart, even when I'm frustrated with his tude. He knows when I need a snuggle most.
Since telling the boys of their new sibling, he now comes up to me and points to my tummy and says, "Baby." He seems to have a love and eye for babies these days. Definitely a testament to his gentle side. Hopefully it's in preparation for Baby Reasland #3!
Oh how we love this boy more than words can express.
I love how God has created each of our boys differently and given them each their own unique personality.
We're praying as parents, that Titus' strong personality, passion, intensity, spirit, yet gentle heart can be used to display attributes of a strong leader who will stand firm in His beliefs and follow strong after Jesus' heart.
We love you sweet boy.
