Last Saturday Aaron and I continued our yearly tradition of visiting the Iowa State Fair. While we had lots of fun starting the tradition with Easton, we were uncertain of what entertainment was available for a 6 week old at the fair. Then we met a calf who couldn't have been much older than Easton... We quickly introduced the two face to face. They seemed to have their own little conversation when out of no where the calf licked Easton across the top of the head from ear to ear. Easton smiled and cooed as we laughed hysterically! Let's just say we weren't quite so ambitious when we introduced him to the lamas, goats, sheep, and horses.
There's only one other thing that captured Easton's attention at the fair, FOOD! Clearly his eyes were tracking the food from our hands to our mouths. Corn dogs, gyros, turkey legs, fried pineapple, and fresh dairy barn ice cream were a few of his favorites. He is definitely our son!
