B and B

Easton was napping, and I found myself in the basement looking for some clean burp cloths to restock the diaper bag. The dryer was full of clean laundry, but my laundry basket was upstairs. I decided I would just sit on the floor and start folding while I had a spare minute.

As I began to fold, I realized what a huge pile of bibs and burp cloths were leaning against the washer. I don't know about any of you, but I have been blessed (!!!) with a spitty baby. As I looked at those bibs and burp clothes, I began to think about how much my life has changed in just 4 short months.

My laundry has doubled, even though his clothes aren't very big. I permanately smell like half-digested milk. I change my clothes and Easton's 3 times a day! I schedule my day around feedings and naps. My house is no longer spotless (I know some of you were waiting for this day!). My trunk holds a stroller instead of groceries. My bathroom smells like wet diapers.... but I am a mom. I wouldn't trade those precious moments of cuddling with Easton for anything (except more time with my hubby). Although every day isn't perfect or easy, motherhood has been a blessing.
