A Christmas Tree
Every Christmas it is a must... a REAL Christmas Tree. We usually go to a tree farm in search of the perfect tree, but this year we had to settle for the local Garden Center due to my work schedule. Fortunately, they had a wonderful selection and we came home with a 7-Foot Frasier Fir. It was extra fun this year as we got to start the tradition with Easton!
Another must, is all-natural decorations. After spending Christmas in Europe three years ago, we decided we would follow in their decorating footsteps. Everything is fresh and natural. Our tree is adorned with dried apple and orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
The Christmas tree holds special meaning to our family. The green color is a sign of life in the dead of winter. Furthermore, the triangular shape of the tree has been historically used to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each point of the tree represents the Trinity; God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. Every time you look at your CHRISTmas tree this year, don't forget that there is eternal life in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
