Absent

So, we have good reason for why we haven't posted in 3 weeks. At the beginning of August when we had all of the torrential rains, we not only had water in our basement, but also got struck by lightning. That meant that we had no Internet for three weeks. After a new modem and lots of hours on the phone with customer service, I think we are back in business. I didn't realize how much I relied on Internet; sad huh? So let me catch you up on our first few weeks of August.

 

After returning from vacation, we left again for a trip to Chicago for a special wedding. One of Aaron's many college roommates, Bryan, got married and Aaron had the honor of standing up with him. It was so much fun to see friends from college that we haven't seen in a couple of years. Oh, our college days were so much fun. It was cool to see how God brought Bryan and his wife Vanessa together; truly a God story.

 

On our way home from Chicago, I received a text from my older brother that said he had gotten engaged. Congrats to Tim and Jodi!! Can't wait to make a trip to Oklahoma for the big day. (The only picture I have of them from Christmas, and I'm sure you won't like it Tim!!)
