We have our first visitors coming in a few short days!
I thought it would be fun to have a count down until Nana and Papa arrived...
So, last Saturday, I brought out the art supplies, and Easton and I created a paper chain to count down the days.
Easton carefully helped me cut the construction paper; great way to practice our colors.
Oh how they love to help at this age. Again, carefully taping each ring just right.
We hung our masterpiece on the mantel. Can you tell that he was so proud of his creation?
Every night before we go to bed, Easton tears off one ring and then we count how many are left until Nana and Papa arrive.
At random times throughout the day, he will spot the chain and jibber jabber and end with "Nana and Papa come."
Our chain is getting shorter!!
