Somebody turned 30 yesterday!!

To be honest, we didn't do much for Aaron's birthday, and for that I feel bad. I feel like 30 is a big deal, but wasn't sure how to celebrate during this time of huge transition. Bad excuse I know.
The only thing he requested was to have what they call Kunefe. My best description is fried cheese with a shredded wheat-crusted top, drizzled with a sugar-like syrup. Served warm with ice cream. Sorry that description doesn't sound very appetizing I know! We also tried some Baklava.
We are thankful for another year.
