Easton - 4 Years Old!!

WHAT!!! My firstborn is 4???!!!
I don't think I have ever been so excited for my children's birthdays, as I have for this one. I'm not sure why that is, but I was so excited to make Easton feel special and loved on his fourth Birthday. It could be that we don't have family around to celebrate, or that life looks a little different from past birthdays, but regardless, I wanted to make this day special for my sweet birthday boy!
This past weekend we celebrated at the beach with a little Beach-themed party!

We had a joint birthday party with this little lady "S".
We gave sunglasses as party favors to all the kids.
How cute are these little ones?!!!
We started his birthday morning off with Pancakes and my homemade Apple Butter. I think this may be Easton's new birthday breakfast tradition!
Thanks to friends and family, Easton was blessed with lots of gifts. I decided rather than giving them to him all at once, I would give him a gift every four hours! He loved it.
We ended our day with a Monster Cookie Cake! Easton requested monster cookies instead of a cake for his birthday. In order to use candles, I thought I would stack 4 cookies and make a cookie "cake." I spread peanut butter frosting in between each layer. We all shared the monster cookie tower to end the special day.

Oh how we love this boy to pieces. He is a blessing to our family in oh so many ways.
His deep belly laugh makes us smile; his intensity motivates us; his words of affection melt our hearts; his love for sports excites us; his questions about Jesus and life remind us to have faith like a child; his desire to be physically close to us makes our affections grow; his love for Titus makes us pray that it will continue for a lifetime.
We are beyond thankful to call this boy our son.
We love you Easton, and can't wait to see how God uses your life.
