The smell of fresh cut grass, a warm breeze and the first of May meant baseball season was here! I always look forward to hearing the ping of the ball on the metal bat and spending my summer evenings at the ball field.
This season would be different, as we announced that it would be our fourth and final season at Pella High.
For the months of May, June and July you would have found all three of us at the ball field, sometimes four nights a week. We weren't going to miss a game our last go-around. Easton and I were going to be Daddy's biggest fans.
You never had to ask Easton twice if he wanted to go to a baseball game; his answer was always an excited "YES!"

Aaron would always take time to come say "Hello" to his little baseball boy. Easton would reach his little hand through the fence and give his dad a "five." Priceless.

Where do I start with this amazing man?? I have LOVED watching my husband coach over the years. His passion, enthusiasm, vision and hard work are contagious to all who are around him. He has enjoyed working with these young men, not only to develop better baseball players, but more importantly men of character and faith. He truly brought passion for the game of baseball to Pella. Oh, how I will miss watching him coach the game of baseball.
This little boy is a sponge. Throughout the season he learned the game of baseball inside and out. He watched "the baseball guys" intently each game. From them, and the little boys, he learned how to run bases, lead off, slide and hit the ball. His vocabulary increased with the words "helmet," "home run" and "bat." He is a "natural" for sure!
Too many cute pictures. I just had to post them!
Easton also learned what popcorn was thanks to the Jablonski boys! We have lots of fun memories from the last three years with this coaching family.
We will definitely miss Pella Baseball, but we have so many great memories. Thanks Pella Baseball Family.
