A three day weekend equals ROAD TRIP!!! On Labor Day we headed to San Antonio for a fun family day. The morning was absolutely gorgeous; a cool 75 degrees. A nice change from all the heat we've been experiencing. We headed out early and ventured around the San Antonio Zoo while it was still cool and the crowds were minimal. Easton loved checking out all the different animals and learned more about what sound each of them make. He now loves to tell us what a lion says, ROAR!!
His favorite though, was Nemo. On our move from Iowa, he watched Nemo multiple times in the car, and is now therefore OBSESSED. I think he asks to watch Nemo every day.
After spending the morning at the Zoo, we strolled along the River Walk. We ate lunch at our favorite, Boudro's, where they make fresh guacamole at your table. YUM!!
It was a fun relaxing day as a family. Hopefully there is more Texas exploring to come.
