Big cities always have lots to offer for fun and entertainment. Every weekend we search for something new and exciting to experience. A couple weeks ago, a friend sent me this list of "99 Things To Do in Austin Before Kindergarden." We decided to change it to "99 Things To Do in Austin Before We Leave!!" Even though we have many more to check off the list, here are the things we have done while living in Austin the last 9 months.
2) Kayak on Ladybird Lake
3) Take Bluebonnet pictures at the Wildflower Center (took ours in Mineral Wells, but have been to Wildflower Center)
4) Pick up breakfast tacos
5) Enjoy a treat at Amy's Ice Cream
6) Have cobbler at the Salt Lick
7) Enjoy a concert at Central Market
8) Sit back and listen at a Library Storytime
9) Buy some boots or a hat at Callahan's
10) Feel the sand between your toes at the Dino Pit at the Austin Science and Nature Center
11) Go to a Round Rock Express Baseball game (done this MULTIPLE times too!)
12) Listen to local music at a park
13) Take a picture of hail from one of the bizarre spring storms
14) Visit the petting zoo at the Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary
15) Go exploring at McKinney Falls State Park
16) Take a walk on the Hike and Bike Trail around Ladybird Lake
17) Get photos from the photo booth at Phil's Ice House
18) Bake cookies for your neighbors (we did cinnamon rolls instead)
19) Taste at least 5 flavors before you decide what to order at one of the many frozen yogurt shops
20) See if your little one can make it all the way to the top of Mt. Bonnell
21) Enjoy an afternoon treat, sunshine and fresh air at Mozart's Coffee Roasters
22) Enjoy food and music at a local Farmer's Market
23) Buy some Kerby Lane pancake mix, and whip some up as a family

Made Pioneer Woman Cinnamon Rolls for all our friends in the apartment complex!! (More details for another post!)
